For sales on Steppit, a share of your class revenue goes to Steppit to help us cover Stripe's payment processing fees, file VAT and sales taxes from your course sales and generally grow our community of course creators. This means that you don’t have to worry about credit card processing fees as this is taken from our share.
Depending on which plan you sign up with, Steppit takes a different percentage cut in revenue. To check which plan you are on, log into your account and head to the 'Admin' tab and select 'Pro Subscription'. Your plan will be listed here. If there is no plan listed this indicates that you are on the Basic Plan (free). You can switch plans at any point.
For your course sales on Steppit, we don’t hold onto your revenue and instead use Stripe Connect to transfer revenue at the point of sale. When you make a sale, your share of revenue will be immediately transferred into your Stripe account, from which you can regularly receive payouts each week.
