How to Train Your AI Assistant

With Steppit Pro, you can train up your personal AI Assistant to help you generate course plans, session plans and text throughout your course to speed up your course creation journey.

Your AI Assistant can be trained on five key traits:

• 🧠 Skillset – Train your assistant in what you know and don’t know, and it’ll offer up content ideas suited to your skillset.
• 🗣️ Voice – Train your assistant on your preferred tone of voice and style of writing and it will learn to generate text that sounds like you, whether it’s strictly professional or playful and fun.
• 👥 Audience – Train your assistant on who will be taking your courses, what their challenges and who you’re targeting, so it can align what it generates with who matters to you.
• 💚 Values – Train your assistant on your primary goals and what you aim to achieve with your online courses, so that it can take this into account when it generates content for you. 
• 🧩 Context – Train your assistant on where Steppit fits within your world, your strengths and weaknesses with running online courses, so it can consider this as it supports you with planning.

Training your personal AI Assistant

1. Go to the ‘Assistant’ tab
2. Click on the circular icon of the first trait you want to train
3. Answer the assistant’s questions to train it on your approach. You can skip at any time, but fully training your assistant on each trait will give the best results
4. Continue with each trait.

Using your AI assistant Throughout your course builder, you will see ‘Generate’ buttons that allow you to use your assistant to help you generate text and outlines to speed up your course creation process.
